Hello XXXXX XXXXXXX

Thanks for the query.
REPORT NO.
1) Red Blood Cells ( R B C) 4.38 (4.5-5.5 million c mm ) LOW,
Mean cells volume ( M C H ) 107.3 fl ( 83.0-101.0) HIGH,
Mean corpuscular or cells hemoglobin 34.8 (27.0-32.0 Pg) HIGH,
Red Cells Distribution Width (RCDW) 15.9 % ( 11.6-14 %) HIGH,

RESULT MILD ANISOPOIKLOCTOSIS,
macrocytic normochromic with macro-ovalocytosis.
Size of RBC is 7 micron and shape is round.
Any change in size of R B C is known as anisocytosis and change in shape is known as poikilocytosis .
These changes were of mild degree hence the report indicates MILD ANISOPOIKLOCYTOSIS .
All the cells in blood called as macrocytes ( rbc, wbc, plateltes) and in this report R B C were oval with fully hemoglobinized ( as hemoglobin is 15.3 gm%) so we call them as MACRO-OVALOCYTES .
Macrocytic normochromic means normal cells.

As far as concerned about MCV ,MCH , RCDW , this is also related to R B Cs as these cells are blood carrying capacity.
Normal life of R B C 120 days .
Freshly released R B C known as reticulocyte hence R C W D is slightly high , this is not a cause of concern.
All these signs are due to old case ( treated case of jaundice) .

Report no
2) all are normal

3) Urine analysis ,
Slightly hazy ( due to what, we drink or fluid taken 12 hours before sample)
Nitrite ( this is part of urea ,which usually present in urine)
BACTERIA (FEW) non-specific ,but for precaution get LEVOFLOXACIN 750 mg/day just for 5 days ( mild nausea so take this drug after dinner ).
Hope I have answered your question.
If further any question I will help.
Good luck
