Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. child is suffering from microcytic hypochromic anemia. Macrocytes are now disappearing.
2. It seems the child is suffering from Thalassemia.
3. HbF level is a bit high and electrophoresis is necessary for confirmation of type of thalassemia.
4. To rule of iron deficiency, serum ferritin, total iron binding capacity and saturation needs to be evaluated.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
