What Means Anisocytosis And Macrocytosis And Peripheral Film In Blood Test Report?

Anisocytosis and Macrocytosis written on my blood test report with peripheral film written next to them Means?
I went to the doctor recently and she advised me to get some tests done. The test is normal..All the values fall in the normal range however at the end of the report there is written peripheral film and in front of that its written Anisocytosis and Macrocytosis. I can't go to the doctor for a week's time. Can anyone tell me whether it means that i have these two diseases ? If so what are the risks associated with them? and details! Please.
Thanks

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
On the basis of reports, my opinion is as follows:
1. Anisocytosis: it means cells are present of varying sizes. The RBC size is of varying ones. normal size is 7 micron and larger ones are around 8 micron. Different size cells are seen, so anisocytosis.
2. Macrocytosis: means large cells. Cell are larger than normal and usually indicates vit B12 or folic acid deficiency.

It is nothing to worry and can be corrected with correction in nutrition intake or after taking supplements.

Any further queries, happy to help again.
