Had Sex. HPT Positive. What Precaution To Take If We Opt For Abortion?

Question: Hi
My Wife and me were having relatioon without any prevention.
My wife was expecting periods on 12th of the month. She did not have till 19.
We did a Prega test on 19 morning and it comes positive.
How should we proceed now. Should we XXXXXXX a Gynaec ASAP and get more tests done?
Also, if we do not want a child right now, then is abortion a feasible option... Does it have a side effect on ladies..
Please advise. Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Missed period in married women and sexually active is almost always pregnancy.
Again as pregnancy test is positive, diagnosis of pregnancy is confirmed.
You should consult a gynecologist and get her examined first.
If you do not want child at this time, you can opt for abortion. As it is early pregnancy, abortion can be done.
After discussing with your doctor, he will guide you about the options available.
Ideally abortion done in safe hands does not have any future consequence. Still I would advise that if you can continue, it is better.
I hope this helps.
Wishing her good health.
