Have A Blood Blister On The Center Of Neck. Have Popped But Comes Gain. What To Do?

Question: I have a blood blister on the center of my back. I got it when I sat down on a metal chair. I've popped it 2 times and it has come back. What do I need to do to heal? XXXXXXX
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for the query.
Blister developing after contact with chair can be an allergic reaction
However, in allergic reaction the blister is not blood filled.
I would like to know whether, there was any insect bite.
Blood filled blisters are seen mainly in insect bite.
If possible please upload a photograph of the lesion, This will help me in a closer diagnosis. There is an option to upload photograph on right side of query page.
Regarding treatment, you can use a mild steroid like hydrocortisone cream twice daily for a week.
Also take some antihistamine like levocetrizine.
This will help you.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you

I sent you a photo. The place is almost the size of a dime. As I said it developed from when I something poked me in the back from sitting in a metal chair. No insect bite here.
Hello,
Thanks for the photograph.
Its just a blister formed due to injury.
It is recurring due to presence of inflammation.
Dont worry just use the medication suggested by me in the first post.
You will be fine in a week.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you

Hello Dr. XXXXXXX
The blister was blood filled at first. It has since gone down to where I can move the skin with no feeling of a bulge that feels as though blood would be inside.
I will try the medicine you suggested. I assume both are over the counter.
Just curious; how is the antihistamine used?
