Have A Little Discolouration On The Jaw Front. What Should Be Done To Prevent It?
Thanks for posting your query.
Discolouration on teeth along with plaque/tartar formation ideally is to be removed by a procedure called scaling and polishing(Cleaning).
These stains are almost impossible to remove on your own, with a tooth brush and paste. Therefore dental intervention is required.
Once the stain is removed, then to prevent its occurance, you may follow these instructions:
-Brush twice daily
-Rinse after every meal
-Use a fluoride containing tooth paste
-Floss regularily
-Gargle with mouthwash on a regular basis
-Get clean ups done atleast once a year
-Avoid strongly coloured foods and beverages
Following the above mentioned instructions will keep your teeth and gums healthy and stain free.
I will be happy to answer, if you have any more questions.
