Have Been On Crestor. Having Problems In Erection. Sildenafil Tablet Didn't Help. Have Premature Ejaculation. Suggest?
Question: Hi Dr,
I have been on Crestor for a number of years now and Iam experiencing continuing problems in obtaining and/or retaininging an erection.Even with Sildenafil tablets obtained on the internet from Canada Iam still experiencing the continuing problem.
Your advise would be greatly appreciated.
Further information:; I probably have experienced premature ejaculation for most of my life and have been to many clinics on how to remedy this failure in my opinion.
I lost my wife 12 mths ago from breast cancer and Iam now seeing a new partner where thye problem still exists.

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
problem of erectile dysfunction and early ejaculation.I shall be happy if you can post few more details to help me to make comments on your problem.
1) Do you have diabetes ?
2) do you have hypertension ?
3) Are you taking any medications apart from Crestor ?
You have been taking Crestor since long time to lower down high cholesterol and has doubt that your problem of erectile dysfunction could be due to side effect of this drug.
Please note that Crestor does not have side effect of erectile dysfunction.
Following measure will help you to boost up your confidence and getting good erection.and delay ejaculation.
1) Practice regular exercise for 45 minutes followed by meditation for 1/2 an hour in the morning.
2) Take high protein diet XXXXXXX in vegetables and fruits and Vitamin A,C,D,E.
3)Take anti oxidants like Almonds 5-6 everyday..
4) Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Since you are facing this problem from so many years and do not have satisfactory erection even with Sildenafil consult qualified Urologist to explore the feasibility of putting penile implant(As a last remedy) so that you can enjoy your sexual life and satisfy your new partner..

Considering the long standing nature of your problem and your age I would suggest you to consult qualified Urologist experienced in the field of implant surgery to explore the feasibility of putting Penile implant.
This is one time surgery and will offer permanent cure to resolve your issue to enjoy sexual life and satisfy your new partner.
