Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for your query.
Regarding the symptoms as mentioned in your post, kindly let us know the following:
1. Any recent incidence of wear & tear or injury?
2. History of lifting of heavy weight?
3. Any past history of dislocation of shoulder or clavicle fracture?
4. Any history of systemic disease like Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypo/Hyperthyroidism?
5. Any associated symptoms like fever, night sweats, cold, etc.?
If your answer to the above mentioned questions is NO, then the symptoms can be attributed to muscle spasm.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained by intake of anti spasmodics like Dicyclomine preparation (to be taken after food) and application of analgesic & muscle relaxant gel.
You can also include supplements of Calcium & Vitamin D in your diet which will help in strengthening of bones.
If symptoms still persist, you need to get X XXXXXXX of the right shoulder joint & chest done (to rule out any pathological cause for the symptoms).
Investigations like complete blood count, estimation of serum calcium, phosphate & Vit D3 will be helpful.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
