Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been facing bells palsy from last one year. I had many treatments including physiotherapy, Still there s a minor difference in my smile. Dr. suggested me that main cause of so long disease was JAW JOINT was unlocked and now its settled to where it should be but it stayed away from its place so there s some clotting inside..
Bell's palsy never have a clot. In bells palsy, there is a nerve disturbance and due to which the muscles it controlled have been affected. Advice to do facial exercises and also a competitive physiotherapist who can understand the way the EMS is used. In my experience, I have seen 100% of Bell's palsy case recovery. It's a slow process but it works. Only thing need is to find the nerve and the branches associated by the physiotherapist and then use the EMS / ENS.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
