Hi,

Ankle is a very vulnerable joint. Once injured it takes quite some time to recover as compared to other joints. However any bony contusion heals on its own with initial 1 to 3 weeks complete rest followed by specific exercises. Since you have surpassed the rest duration what you need is specified exercises for which you are already visiting a physio.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
