Have Had Ear Pain And Pressure In Front Of Ear. Can This Be TMJ?
Question: I have had ear pain/pressure in front of my ear...can this be TMJ or Eustachian tube dysfunction? thanks
Brief Answer:
TMJ perhaps
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
Thanks for the query. If the pain is exactly located at the joint (put a finger in front of the ear, in the part that moves when you open and close the jaw) it is likely to be TMJ dysfunction; Eustachian tube dysfunction usually does not cause pain but a sensation of blocked ears.
