Hi

Thanks for posting your query on XXXXXXX

It can be because of many causes. The possibilities can include trauma to the foot, musculoskeletal pain, arthritis, pes cavus, pes planus, etc.

If you can elaborate on your symptoms, I will be better able to help you.

My advice will be as following:
•     Take pain-killer as needed
•     Do not wear heels
•     Wear comfortable shoes
•     Give the foot some rest

Treatment of cause and co-morbidity should be considered as well. Thus I will recommend that you visit an orthopedic surgeon if the pain does not get better.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
