Thanks for posting this query.

As you know Psoriasis is a autoimmune disease in which body destroy it's own cells thinking it as a pathogen. So along with medicine your GP prescribed, you have to take care of your skin, like avoid too hot or cold weather, wounds, scratches, alcohol, stress, etc.

Apply steroidal cream and take antihistamine tablet for itching.

At present their is no permanent cure for psoriasis, you can go for phototherapy and steroidal creams.

phototherapy will have any side-effects?
Other than steroidal creams, is there any other things that can be used?
Any in-home measures?

Because, I heard steroidal creams are not good for the blood.

There are many therapy available which can be combined with phototherapy. Along with this there are laser therapy and physiotherapy also available. So just consult with dermatologist and physiotherapist.

The correct regime will give you less harm and more improvement.
