Brief Answer:
Microscopic hematuria
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Since the blood gets dissolved in the urine you will not be able to appreciate the blood unless it is in large amounts, it is called microscopic hematuria. In other words blood in urine which can only be seen under the microscope.
Upto 3 red blood cells is considered normal in males, however if there are more than 3 then it is abnormal and the most common reason for the hematuria is
urinary tract infection, other causes of hematuria are renal calculus (stone),
vasculitis,
IgA nephropathy, ADPKD,glomerulo nephritis, etc. On the whole it is nothing to worry about
It is difficult for me assess the urine test by just knowing that there is hematuria, could you please attach the entire urine test report. Also please let me know the symptoms for which you had approached the doctor like burning micturation, fever,
abdominal pain, etc
Please get back to me, I am awaiting your reply
I wish you good health
Regards
