Having Head And Neck Pain. Feeling Pain In Several Areas. What Can Be Done?

Question: I m having pain in my head and neck and side of jaws and i haing it from last 5 days and most of the times i feel pain in my servical areas

Hi XXXXX,

You most probably have a cervical muscle spasm.

If I were your treating doctor, I would ask you to take good analgesics like Brufen or Voveran thrice daily after food for next 3 days.

I also advice you to rest your neck completely. Complete bed rest for a day to get better soon.

Proper neck support in the form of neck collar will be helpful too.

The dosage of both Brufen and Voveran has to be individualized depending on your body weight and the severity of pain.

I usually treat my patients with 400 mg of Brufen or 75 mg of Voveran.
