Have A Throbbing Tightness In My Neck And Headache. Took Tylenol And Benadryl. What Could It Be?

I have a throbbing tightness in my neck on the right side. seems to get worse with activity. I had a headache along with this yesterday. I took Tylenol and Benadryl before bed. My head seems better today. I have had these before and tried to explain it to my Dr. he had know idea. I feel like someone is squeezing my neck.

Hi,
All these symptom suggest that you might be having cervical musculoskeletal spasm,you require muscle relaxants like myoril 4 mg twice daily .
You require stronger analgesics like hifenac twice daily for 4-5 days along with relaxants.Stop Benadryl
Do neck relaxation exercise
If still symptoms persists you need further evaluation like MRI cervical spine
