Having Mouth Pain And Swelling In Tongue. Taking B-complex. Related To Mouth Ulcer?
Is it related to mouth sore/cancer or simply Mouth Ulcer ?
please suggest what medicine should i prefer to get well soon.
As you have mentioned you are suffering from discomforting oral symptoms since 3 days, this shows that the condition is acute and possibly it is due to some kind of infection, ulceration, physical or chemical trauma.
I would mention the possible causes;
HERPANGINA is the viral infection caused by herpes virus often associated with swelling in tongue, lips, and the other parts of oral mucosa.
It is a self-limiting condition and subsides within a period of week by symptomatic treatment, sometimes topical antiviral medicament may be needed.
Streptococcal infections may lead to inflammatory oral mucosa known as oral mucositis which leads to pain and burning sensation in the mouth.
Oral ulcerations caused due to deficiency of vitamin B, especially vitamin B3 and vitamin C.
PERNICIOUS ANEMIA can be the reason. So please rule out by taking blood tests, approaching a physician.
Oral cancers are caused due to chronic use of tobacco smoking, tobacco chewing , bettel nut chewing , intake of hot and spicy foods or the long standing trauma , ulcerations , infections may develop into malignancies, this can be confirmed only on clinical evaluation.
Swelling of tongue and lips is seen in Neurofibromatosis, which is a form of oral cancer.
I would suggest you to approach an oral surgeon for clinical examination and evaluation, which helps in exact diagnosis and treatment.
Meantime you can do symptomatic treatment at home by maintaining good oral hygiene to prevent any super infection , use antiseptic mouth rinses which gives soothing effect , apply topical antiseptic and analgesics oral ointment , continue with ANTIOXIDANT supplements .
I hope this information helps you.
Take care.
