Question: I began having problems with hard distrended abdomen last year. Had upper and lower and all was fine. A doctor at the ER looked at MRI and noted tissue changes in liver possible endometrial cells. Laproscopy was performed no endometrios, but colon adhered to abdominal wall, lysis was performed. My abdomen is still hard and distended. Weight gain. 7 months ago began severe headaches with dizziness, poor concentration and memory problems. CT MRA shows Falx Meningioma 2.1cmx2.1cmx2.1cm at the midline mostly on the right with some also on the left of the midline. Have left sided leg weakness and drop things. I have blacked out or gone unconscious maybe five times and have had some weird spells where I lose taste, start smacking and get weak and confused. Then it feels like Ive been hit by a semi, am tired and feel like I weigh a thousand pounds. I drop objects all of the time. Recent weird bruises purple red splotches with white center and doctor today gave emt and I kept bleeding. She noted saying most people stop bleeding right away. Been sick for a while. Swollen lymph node under arm pit with indentation--negative mammogram. Confused and sick and tired of being sick and tired. Primary says its all in my head..

Thank you Doctor. Most helpful. I have recently (as of last week) taken more charge of my situation. I was seeing one doctor for my spinal tumor, one for my brain, one primary who doesn't help me at all. He really believes that all pain stems from childhood and since then I have been diagnosed with a brain tumor and my colon adhesion. He was of no assistance in getting either of these taken care of. When I had mammogram and was told possibly needed antibiotic, I called and he refused to see me or give me antibiotic. I had to go to gyno, who sent me to breast specialist who gave me an antibiotic and was on the Septra for 20 days before the infection cleared. He could have saved us all alot of time, money, and hassle; so, I have appt with a new primary March 1st who I will make sure gets all of my information and does not tell me to "smell the roses and look at the butterflies" as my physician told me. got the findings and images first and I can tell that the growth is actually in my brain tissue not only sitting on top of it. It is not difficult to see. Anyway, what kind of blood work can I ask my new physician to have checked for to see if there is anything odd going on in relation to the meningioma just in case it is not benign or a meningioma? Is there a way to tell through blood work? After this question I will leave you alone. It is just really nice to talk to a doctor that did not mention one word to me about depression.
