Headache, Weakness, Swollen Lymph Node Under Armpit, Hard And Distended Abdomen. Treatment?
Thanks for the query.
I have noted all your complaints.
Your weakness and feelings are due to the meinigioma. You have weakness and as well as a complex partial type of seizures (this is the most likely possibility of the weird feelings). The so-called meiningioma in the imaging may not be meningioma also and other diagnoses need consideration. The lymph node swelling in the armpit may be a different issue in you all together. It may be infective mostly. Regarding the bleeding issue in this setting, we have to check your blood counts, platelet counts etc.
You need a detailed medical evaluation in a centre having multidisciplinary facility. The team of doctors including neurologist/neurosurgeon will evaluate you. You will require surgical excision of the meningioma and the biopsy report will guide further regarding management.
I hope this clarifies.
Let me know if you have any question in this issue.
Best wishes
got the findings and images first and I can tell that the growth is actually in my brain tissue not only sitting on top of it. It is not difficult to see. Anyway, what kind of blood work can I ask my new physician to have checked for to see if there is anything odd going on in relation to the meningioma just in case it is not benign or a meningioma? Is there a way to tell through blood work? After this question I will leave you alone. It is just really nice to talk to a doctor that did not mention one word to me about depression. Thank you so much for your kindness, your gifted knowledge and assistance in this matter and very stressful time for me.
I understand your pain points. But there is no specific blood test to detect meningioma or benign tumor. It has to be done by imaging only.
Please visit a medical centre where all the medical facilities are available. They will approach this the way I have discussed.
Think of me in future for any specific advice.
Best wishes.
