default
Posted on Fri, 9 Jun 2017
Question: This just happened today. My labia was so sore I could hardly walk. It is very inflamed and almost looks like a blister. It is not itchy. I am sitting here with a cloth between my legs because it hurts when the two sides touch.

Brief Answer:
Bartholin abscess should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
This labial swelling can be Bartholin abscess or allergic reaction to some soap or undergarment.
I will suggest you to take painkillers, and antiallergic at the earliest.
Moreover, you should consult an OBGYN specialist for proper examination and treatment accordingly.
Bartholin abscess needs to be drained at the earliest for treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
