Have Bumps In Labia. Painful, Burning When Urinating. Same Partner For A Long Time. Treatment?
The other day I noticed pain around my vagina and I thought I had cut myself while shaving. Then I felt extreme burning while urinating which I wrote off as maybe a UTI. The next day the area was extremely painful and as I looked with I mirror I noticed there was a round but flat bump on my labia. It is extremely painful! Today I noticed another one but close to the opening of my vagina and it's just as painful as the other. I don't believe it is herpes because I've had the same partner for 10 months with no prior problems. What else could these be?
Hi, Thanks for the query. The possibilities are vaginal infection leading to lesions or bartholin abscess. The infection can occur through intercourse and also due to shaving. As you are having symptoms better to consult gynecologist once. By examination only the exact nature of the lesion can be made-out and treated. So better to get examined. Systemic and local antibiotics can help in relieving the symptoms. Sitz bath can also help.
