Hello and welcome,

If this happened after shaving, it may be folliculitis (a small infection around a hair follicle, or plugged hair follicle).

The best thing for this, if it is not troubling you, is to apply heat. Hot (not so hot it burns your skin!) sitz baths (soak in tub) or applying a wash cloth that is wet with hot water, a few times a day, should take care of it.

Fucidin would be ok, as long as it doesn't irritate your skin.

I recommend NOT using Fucidin H as that contains the steroid hydrocortisone, and applying it so close to mucus membranes (the anus) could increase it's absorption.

If the pimple becomes hot and tender and starts to spread, then do go in to have it looked at as that would indicate an increasing infection.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.

With applying heat, it should look and feel like it is getting better in the next 2 or 3 days. It may not completely disappear in that time, but should look like it's getting softer or better.

Hemorrhoids don't usually look like pimples since they are actually blood vessels that are enlarged. Hemorrhoids don't alway cause pain. Typically they cause pain when they are irritated or inflamed such as after straining with a hard bowel movement, prolonged sitting, after having a baby, etc.
