How Can Clarkson's Disease Be Treated?
Question: clarkson's disease..how can it be treated?
some two years ago I was erroneously prescribed BP pills. This is when I began to fall over as my blood pressure plumeted. I didn't make the connection but 6 months later was advised to stop taking the pills. These early falls were not of a serious nature. I would fall onto my knees or bottom, but I didn't used to become unconsious. Experienced some difficulty getting to my feet but always managed it. I have, and always had, a pathetic appetite, never hungry and have difficulty forcing food down. So .tried to eat more sensibly. I was terrified of falling out of doors, so not having any exercise could't engender any appetite.
A vicious circle. Was also sleeping a lot
Brief Answer:
theophylline , terbutaline or monteleukast
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX ,
History of falls can be due to a variety of diseases commonly related to heart or brain. Clarksons disease is a very rare disease and i would like to ask you how you diagnosed it as clarksons disease. What tests have you done ? Please follow up with me with all the reports. As far as treatment for clarksons goes patient can take theophylline , terbutaline or monteleukast to prevent blood pressure from falling . But i will advise to get a heart echocardiography and neurological and cardiovascular checkup before taking these medications.
