Detailed Answer:
Hello!

I am glad to hear from you again on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that further changes need to be done regarding your anti- hypertensive therapy in order to have a better management of blood pressure.

So, I would recommend taking Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg, one tablet in the morning, besides your current therapy.

A close monitoring of blood pressure is needed in the subsequent week.

If after a week your blood pressure values are still high ( above 140/ 90 mm Hg), then I would recommend adding 5 mg of amlodipine at lunch. Y out can increase further the dose of amlodipine up to 10 mg after a week if blood pressure values are still high.

Hope to have been helpful!

I remain at your disposal if you have any other questions!

Kind regards,

Dr.Iliri
