How Can Left-sided Back Pain Be Alleviated?

default
Posted on Tue, 29 Aug 2017
Question: Yesterday I had left sided back pain between my shoulder blade and spine. Today I've had a migraine that just won't go away with nausea and increasing dizziness. Very tired that doesn't improve with rest. In October 2016 I had multiple pulmonary emboli, was in the hospital for 3 days and treated with Coumadin for six months. I have a strong feeling that something is wrong.

Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised after consulting a physician

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Severe back pain at the said location is usually muscular but may be rarely due to coarcotation of aorta.
You should visit to a doctor for examination and investigation if required.
You can also apply local pain reliever ointment.
For migraine pain killers like naproxen should be continued for 1-2 days as required.
Take rest and proper sleep.
Take timely meals and avoid excessive tea, coffee or chocolates.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
