How Can Severe Shoulder Pain After Injury Be Treated?

Question: My mom is 92 she had a fall 7/2, 7/11 they decided to confine her to a wheelchair and not walk her (no acceptable reason given) sh has been increasing upper body use for transfers and exp cts to come home this way
Last night I tried getting her off the commode at the facility and she screamed in pain her face went white and she asked for the Tylenol HUGELY unusual for her.
What scares me most is I rubbed her shoulder and felt crunching like an arthritic joint only it was a little more severe and painful, and I was just lightly rubbing top, no preasure then felt like shoulder seemed to pop back in place and. She was at least able to focus. Mom is very alert and tuff. What happens here what do I look for what do I do?

Brief Answer:
Ask to see if the pain persists!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks so much for this query.
I have reviewed this information fully. There are moment we can feel crunching pain due to excess pressure or a forced joint movement in the wrong direction. Pain medications would normally relief this and there is no need for further medical intervention. Unless the pain recurs, there is no need to be worried.
In all, monitor for pain only. Unless it persists, there is no reason to get worried or seek further medical care at this time.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need.
