It looks like inflammation of mucosa only and dry mouth and acid reflux can both contribute to it..
So for relieving the symptoms you should gargle with mouthwash containing Lignocaine/ Lidocaine..
You can suck ice pops..
Take Vitamin B complex supplement daily..
Avoid spicy and irritant foods..
You should also take remedies for dry mouth like chewing sugar free chewing gum..
Drink plenty of water..
You can also instil artificial saliva drops..
For acid reflux problem you can take antacids half an hour before meals..
