Brief Answer:
Needs time

Detailed Answer:
Hello ! Thank you for asking HealthCareMagic and welcome.
I read your concern and I understand.
The steroid medication to reduce inflammation and pain need some time , usually 2-7 days. This could be one of the reason why you did not have any improvement yet.
Not in all patient this therapy is completely successful.
During the following days you will start to feel better as the steroid is working on.
After 2 weeks you can do another injection for better results.

Hope you find it helpful.
Please let me know if you have any further clarifications, I will be happy to help.
Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
Depends

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Glad to know that you feel better.
The effect may last some days to few month , it's different in every patient.
You have to know that cortisonic shots don't cure the dissease , it's symptomatic treatment ( reduce inflammation and pain) means that the pain may come back .
If the pain start again you can take another shot at least after 2 weeks fromt the first one.

Hope this help.
Take Care!
