Question: Hello How are you? I am researching a human body system for my aged care course certificate 3., I have decided to so the Lymphatic/immune system. I won't. Be able to pay for your answer today , but I can the week after next. I need to know what it is , the structure , and function.

The two systems are intimately related in structure and function.
1)Lymphatic system:
It consists of lymph,lymphatic channels/vessels,and lymph nodes.
The lymph is the fluid that is leaked out from the capillaries during blood circulation.It is absorbed back into lymph vessels,and is carried into the venous system through bigger channels.It is screened in the lymph nodes for any microbes/foreign things before draining into venous blood.If detected,immune cells in the lymph nodes are activated to control the issue-thus it is related to immune system.
2)Immune system:
It is the system that protects our body from any microbes/pathogens/cancer cells/foreign agents.It has a cellular(lymphocytes,macrophages,neutrophils etc) and a humoral(antibodies) component.It is also divided into an innate(present from birth-common against any agents) and an acquired(acquired later-specific for each agents) systems.
These division is for description only.All acts together as a single unit.
