Why Arteries And Veins Of Heart Different From Rest Of The Body?
In most of the body the arteries carry oxygenated blood and the veins carry un-oxygenated blood. The exception to this pattern is the heart. Explain how and why specific arteries and veins of the heart are different from the pattern seen in the rest of the body.
It is due to circulation of blood.Deoxygenated blood from the body is pumped out by the heart (Rt. ventricle) to the lungs through pulmonary artery for oxygenation(purification). Oxygenated blood from the lungs goes to the heart through pulmonary veins for its onwards supply to the body.
