How Effective Are Painless Vaccines For Infants?
If the painless vaccine is unavailable you can change
Detailed Answer:
Hi.... The IAP - XXXXXXX Academy of Pediatrics suggests the use of painful vaccine only. They suggest this because in European and XXXXXXX populations the children who were vaccinated with painless vaccination had lesser immunity when compared to children who received painful vaccine or normal vaccine.
But no studies have been done to prove this in XXXXXXX
But as the IAP has suggested - it is my opinion also to go by the normal or painful vaccine only.
But as the kid has already received 2 doses of painless vaccine it is better to complete the schedule with the same vaccine.
The booster doses at 18 months and years can be given with normal vaccine. But if painless vaccine is not available then go by the normal vaccine.
