Brief Answer:
Nasovac or Influvac

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and problem.
You can take Nasovac vaccine which is effective against influenza A, B and swine flu. It has been prepared by serum institute of XXXXXXX and costs about 300 INR. It can be taken 0.5 ml intranasal route. Single dose is enough. But 2 nd dose can be taken after 21 days. It can cause few local and systemic side effects. Do not take aspirin with it.
Or you can take Influvac effective against influenza A, B an swine flu. It is given 0.5 ml intramuscularly.Local reactions include: redness, swelling, itching, warmth, pain, restriction in arm movement, induration and blue spots.
You can take either of the vaccine whichever is available. Both provide good immunity. You can discuss about this with your primary doctor.

Take care

Brief Answer:
At least 2-3 weeks for vaccine response.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Influvac is a influenza vaccine which is surface antigen, inactivated and a trivalent subunit influenza vaccine. Each 0.5 mL dose contains neuraminidase and 15 mcg of hemagglutinin antigen for each virus strain present in the vaccine.

The seroprotection develops in a person within 2 to 3 weeks and not as you said 2-3 days. The duration of post-vaccinal immunity is usually 6 to 12 months. So you have to take precautions like frequent hand washing with soap and water, avoid crowded places, lifts, direct exposure to a patient, cover your mouth and nose with a face mask or N 95 mask if visiting a hospital. If you develop fever, difficulty in breathing, chest pain then visit a pulmonologist. Stay atleast 6 ft from patients with suspected flu. Take precautions for at least 2-3 more weeks before vaccine immunity develops.

Take care.
Best of health.
