Your partner can develop symptoms years.I suggest use latex condoms correctly every time you have sex. This can drastically lower your chances of getting HPV. HPV can infect areas that are not covered by a condom.Be in amonogamous relationship. You can get your partner as well as yourself vaccinated.There is no treatment for the virus but treatment is available for health problems that HPV can cause.
