Brief Answer:
Looks like an abscess, can take around a week, consult a Dentist

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for the query..

Infection from a bad tooth can lead to pus formation below the root tips of the tooth.
This is called a Dental Abscess.
The swelling is most commonly due to abscess.

As you are already taking antibiotic, it can take around a week for swelling to reduce.
But complete resolution needs treatment of the tooth..

Consult a Dentist and get evaluated.
An x ray of the tooth can be done.

It will help in deciding whether tooth can be saved or needs removal.

Also please tell that since how many days are you taking antibiotic?
-Are you advised any painkillers?
-Is there any reduction in swelling?
-Which tooth is it, upper or lower, front or back tooth?
-Is mouth opening fine or is reduced?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards..

I started the antibiotic course only one day ago,Im on day two I was given 600mg Ibuprophen for pain.. Mouth opening is slightly reduced due to swelling.I have contacted the dentist for an evaluation. The tooth causing the infection is upper in the middle.
