Complete systemic clearance of fluoxetine is therefore likely to take anywhere from 11 to 38.5 days after stopping. However, just because the fluoxetine will have likely been cleared from your body in under 39 days does not mean that its metabolites like norfluoxetine will have also been excreted. They will take 22 and 82.5 days to clear out. In other words, it’s likely to take between 1 and 3 months to have fully excreted Prozac and its metabolites following your final dose.
