Brief Answer:
About 10 to 14days.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
It might take up to 14 days, depending on the resistance.
I recommend the following.
1) Antihistamine like levocetrizine with phenylephrine to relieve clogging and improve middle ear ventilation.
2) Avoid smoking. If you are not a smoker, kindly ignore this suggestion.
3) A course of antibiotics.
4) Analgesic like tablet paracetamol for pain relief.
5) Avoid refrigerated drinks as they may aggravate the congestion.
6) An Otoscopic ear examination if the condition is not improving.

You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
