Because the liver is involved in the production of clotting factors and any liver problem may affect bleeding.
For this reason , it is normally advised that persons wait at least a week before using NSAIDS such as ibuprofen.
Analgesics such as paracetamol are preferred but if does not rsspond to this you may need stronger pain medixation such as opiates.
