Brief Answer:
Its safe to give nasivion drops.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Can understand your concerns.

At 9 months of age, most children has nasal blockage due to which they are not able to sleep in night.
Nasivion 0.025% drops has oxymetazoline which helps in relieving blocked nose.
Use 1 drop in each nostril three times a day for 3 days.
Also, we have to also look whether wheezing is present or not as wheezing requires nebulisation and use of antibiotics.

Review in 2 days.

I hope this will help you.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Nebulisation and antibiotics needs to be started.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome once again to hcm.

Since fever and wheezing is present, it suggests the possibility of bronchiolitis or lower respiratory tract infection.
For fever, you can give paracetamol. Start a cough syrup.
In my opinion, the child may require antibiotic like cefpodoxime and nebulisation for wheezing episode.
I suggest you get the child examined by a doctor because the child is small and so that we may not miss any important finding in examination.

I hope this will help you.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Change brand of paracetamol

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If the problem is only with paracetamol syrup then you should change the brand.
Sometimes, the child doesn't like the smell or taste of particular medicine which results in vomiting so its better to change the brand.
Many brands of paracetamol are available like crocin, calpol-120.
If the problem persist after changing brand then we have to look for other causes like wheezing. If wheezing is present then child may require nebulisation.
In all, I suggest you to change the brand and see.
Take care.
