Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic
Urine, Kidney function / Liver function Thyroid tests are all NORMAL
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your Triglyceride (TG) is high - not alarming / Normal = less than 150 / Borderline = 150 to 199. High = 200 to 499 / Very high = 500 or higher.
One has to fast 14 hours for proper assessment. If not, repeat the test after 2 months with 14-hour fast.
Low Carbohydrate diet will help…
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are subdivisions of cholesterol – LDL, HDL, non-HDL and so on.
HDL is good cholesterol – higher, the better. Your value is a bit below the normal… Regular exercise will help to increase it over time…
LDL is bad cholesterol – lower, the better. .. / In the absence of any other risk factor 100 is ideal for LDL-C. In the presence of heart disease, 70 should be the aim. Your value is normal – no cause for concern
Your weight (& BMI) is normal / keep it so; even a little less
Quit smoking, if you are a smoker
Do regular EXERCISE – say walking or jogging - 30 minutes a day, at least 5 days in a week. If you like, continuing in the Gym is very good
Healthy FOOD is a must. Avoid saturated fats – coconut oil, palm oil, butter, ghee, full cream milk...Avoid junk foods in particular – French fries have palm oil / Pizza has cheese / XXXXXXX sweets are made in ghee.../ Change to Poly-un-saturated oil – like sun flower oil. / Include Mono-un-saturated oil – Olive oil.
Repeat the test in 2 months…
TG can still be high, in spite of diet and exercise – you need drugs; because it is also manufactured in the liver – and that is determined by heredity. Fibrate (or Statin) is the usual choice, if at all you need ...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have to reduce the QUANTITY of your food and change the QUALITY too. It is not possible to explain or understand the nuances on a single occasion. To start with, reduce the amount to one third of what you are presently taking. Avoid all fats – they have double the energy of carbohydrates. You should see a good DIETICIAN - One generally needs SEVERAL sessions, to master concepts of calories, nutritional values, biological value, vitamins, minerals and so on.
Good luck
God bless you
