How To Confirm If The Hymen Is Intact Or Not?
Question: Hi im welling to know if i have a hymen. I never had sex but i used to insert tissue into my body during mensuration
Hi
Hymen is a thin membrane and it don't have any indication for any thing.
Because there is a hole in the hymen through which blood passes during menstruation. During cycling , running or some hard activities hymen may rupture . It is not necessary that hymen rupture only due to sexual intercourse.\
So don't take and don't think much about hymen, enjoy your life.

Brief Answer:
The hymenal ring appears intact
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the pictures as they are very helpful.
You can clearly see the hymenal ring and it appears intact. You have nothing to worry about and you have done nothing wrong by inserting tissue during your period.
I hope that this helps.

Thank you so much doctor i asked this question twice as another doctor told me that there is no hymen and he made me so worried. Just can i know the type of hymen i got? Thank you again im really crying know out of happines
Brief Answer:
There is not hymen 'type'
Detailed Answer:
You have a normal appearing hymenal ring. This also takes into account that there is wide variation in how they appear. Regardless of how it looks, if you have never had vaginal intercourse then you are a virgin. It does NOT matter what the hymen looks like. As I stated before, there is no 'virginal test'. You can use feminine products with NO concern that they will change the way that the hymenal ring looks (i.e. it would be very hard to cause tears in the hymen with tampon insertion).
I sincerely hope that this helps.

So this means that my hymen is not teared and i will get bleeding during my first intercourse right?
Brief Answer:
Yes that is probably correct
Detailed Answer:
Based on how the hymen appears, it would not XXXXXXX me if you had bleeding with first intercourse. This is not a universal experience, though. Please try not to worry and be certain that if you remain true to yourself and your goals that this will not be an issue, especially if you are eventually in a relationship with someone who cares about you at all.
