High blood pressure has no connection with low vit.D.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to the HCM.
Dear since vitamin D is necessary to maintain calcium level and bone metabolism. And high blood pressure tends to occur due to so many factors affecting arteries (vessels ,volume of blood circulation etc).
Vitamin D requirement are highly individual, and the amount that your body needs may depend on numerous factors, including the colour of your skin(vit D is made naturaly through skin by sun light),your location and how much sunshine your're exposed to on regular basis. You should aim to have your level between 50 and 70 ng/ml.The best way to reach optimal vit .D level is through safe sun exposure and supplement .For right dose of supplement ,it is important have your blood level test repeated first ;to know the current level, then dose of supplement can be decided.
For B.P and diabetes ,regular walk with low sodium and eating small 6 meals in a day including carbohydrates would help to maintain sugar level and weight too.
I would like to ask that the sugar level you have mentioned in your history is wether fasting level or random sugar level. As fasting normal level and randon normal level have different values.Since deranged sugar level and high B.P can be co related to each other.High sugar level can affect arteries so their pressure and vice versa.
For chest congestion(cold) you may take antiallergic tab and steam inhalation would also help to decrease the cold (congestion).
So in nut shell for vitamin D ,get blood level first and discuss further but for B.P and diabetes with medicines ,modifying life style like daily brisk walk for at least 45 minutes,6 small meals could help to maintain both.As in diabetes it is not important that one should skip the carbohydrates at all ;it can cause further loss of weight and even low sugar level .Instead including complex carbs (brown bread, oats brown rice etc) in daily diet would help to maintain sugar level.
Hopefully my answer will be helpfull,I will happy to clarify you more after knowing random and fasting sugar level and systolic and diastolic pressure readings.
