How To Count Pregnancy In Weeks?
Question: Hello
I have had a pregnancy scan but no date of how many weeks pregnant I am.
I have another appointment in a week but I'm really curious to know.
Would it be possible from pic of scan.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
kindly upload the image.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
The months of pregnancy can be easily counted by date of last menstrual period.
But you are curious to know by ultrasound.
The picture of ultrasound has some measurements written on it. If you can upload a clear picture of your ultrasound, possibly, approximate age of fetus can be calculated.
Kindly upload the image if possible.
Thanks.

Hello the image was uploaded
Brief Answer:
not possible to determine the age with this pic.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for uploading the picture.
As no measurements (biparietal diameter, abdominal circumference, head circumference, femur length) are written on picture, it is almost impossible to estimate the fetal age/duration of pregnancy.
You would have to go for another ultrasound.
(Wait for your appointment next week).
I wish you healthy and safe pregnancy.
Thanks.
