Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
Usually ovulation occurs on 14 th day in 28 days cycle.
As you are having 23 days cycle it may occur on 9 th day or may be early also because usually period comes 14th days after ovulation ( but it is very difficult to predict ovulation) .
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Good luck.
Regards

Alright cause I was thinking if it was any shorter, there would be a risk of having a period before implantation could take place. Anything shorter than 10 anyway.
Brief Answer:
Implantation not occur after period.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I can understand with your query that you are saying is there any possibility of implantation after period, so it is not possible because during menstruation endometrium is already shed off, so where the embryo get implant.
Hope this is your query, or if I misunderstood than please let me know.
I feel happy to assist you.
Good luck.
