How To Get Rid Of Red Scratch At Urethral Opening?

Wondering how to get rid of it. I uploaded a picture today when I asked the question to you guys there. He said I should see a dermatologist
Need more information
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query. I have also looked at the Image.
I would keep a possibility of either Lichen planus Or Erythroplasia of queyart.
I would suggest a Biopsy for confirmatory diagnosis.
I would like to gather some more information from you in order to be able to guide you better.
-Has it never healed ever since you noticed it?OR does it recur after healing? Was it at the same spot since you noticed it?
-What are the symptoms?Any itching/pain/burning sensation/bleeding/crusting etc?
-Are you sexually active? How many sexual partners do you have?
-What was the response to the topical medication?Did it regress?
-Can you upload a few more Digital Images with good clarity?
Regards

But when I stop using it the problem comes back after awhile. The hydrocortisone seemed to help a bit but not much.
There is no itching or burning or pus or blood. Just discomfort every once in awhile
It seems to get better for awhile then I start having the discomfort again
It has been at same spot since I noticed it
Only been with my wife since we were married 7 years ago
I don't have any better pictures but I can sure try and get some
f I have that querat thing I think I'll just shoot myself now. Just looked at some pictures and that's nasty stuff
Just to help put my mind at ease
....... If I did have that wouldn't my very small red /scratch have blown up to more then it has in the 2 years since I notices it?
I'm also concerned about your mention of a biopsy How exactly would that be done on something so small. And what kind of scare might that leave?

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Erythroplasia of Queyrat manifests itself by single or multiple asymptomatic papules or plaques on the glans penis, or periurethrally, predominantly in uncircumcised men, age range from twenty to eighty years of age. The disease progresses slowly, and the interval between onset and diagnosis may be years.
It can only be confirmed by histopathology which should be done for such a long standing lesion of unknown etiology. The biopsy would be done under local anesthesia. Might leave a very small scar.
Kindly upload more Digital good clarity pictures

Apply topical moderately potent steroid
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for the picture, this is a much better one. Of course it is not classical erythroplasia since it is just a small spot.
I would suggest that rather than using hydrocortisone, you may first be try empirical treatment with a topical moderately potent topical steroid e.g mometasone propionate,, twice daily for 2 weeks and then follow it up.
