I used to travel a lot from childhood. from the time my dad was transfered to XXXXXXX I started getting lot of hair fall. after coming to XXXXXXX it continued
.. after I finished college n started working hair fall has reduced but it is still there
. my scalp is oily n hence I have to shampoo every alternate day else hair fall increases.. one more thing to note is I'm anemic most of the time and even after taking medications it comes back.. no bald patches yet but thin hair..

1) YEs change of place ( and so the weather and water ) are the main reasons for most hair fall.
2) Oily scalp will need more frequent shampoos.
3) Anemia & so malnutrition is a major cause of hairfall.
My advice
1) Get clean filtered water bot for drinking and bathing. It should not be hard water.
2) Use anti dandruff shampoos frequently . Do not wear helmets and caps for long as they increase sweating and hairfall.
Try to stay away from dusty places.
3) Get a blood study done. Not just hemoglobin but entire anemia hematology profile. We need to find cause of anemia and then only treat it.
4) Eat lots of fruits and fresh vegetables.
5) If all these do not help over 2-3 months i would suggest that you start medications like minoxidil ( only after prescribed by a certified dermatologist) .

I already follow these 2 points. but is there any solution for increasing hair density? I was also thinking about hair transplant. any suggestion s on less invasive practice which I can try?
Brief Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Detailed Answer:
Hair transplant is always the last option . Its a good final option.
Lets try some medications first. They are non invasive.
Minoxidil increases hair density. I will suggest that, but a dermatologist has to give the prescription.
