Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
There are 2 methods of termination. Medical and surgical. In your case, both are suitable. But you need to do an ultrasound first to confirm intra uterine pregnancy. However, you should be informed that in case of medical abortion with drugs, there is a 15% failure rate, especially if you have had previous ceasarean sections.

A surgical termination is also simple and usually doesnt require over night hospital admission. Its done under anaesthesia.

Brief Answer:
risks

Detailed Answer:
Well the risks vary . In case of medical abortions since there may be dense adhesions incomplete abortions is likely . Even in early pregnancy . Chances increase with advancing pregnancy . Jn case of surgical abortions , it's a one shot procedure . Normally few hours admission is required . Patient can be discharged 2 hrs after the procedure . It can be done under regional or short general anesthesia . Risks vary depending on your medical history . If you don't have major medical issues then it's a fairly simple procedure . Complications increase with advancing pregnancy . .In your case risks are minimal . Usually recovery time is a couple of days of rest following which you can resume normal life . The surgical procedure done is usually D/C.
