Brief Answer:
a warm compress and anti inflammatory medication

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Lymph nodes enlarge for different reasons, most cases due to a benign/non cancerous cause.

In addition to the ultrasound, you may have also had blood tests such as complete blood count and ESR (checks for the presence of inflammation in the body).

Causes of enlarged node include : (1)infection to surrounding area or infection of the lymph node itself
(2)allergic skin condition in surrounding skin
(3)trauma to the lymph node
(4)less commonly due to cancer

Treatment: (1) a warm compress 2 to 3 times daily for 15 to 20 mins would be helpful
(2)pain medication such as ibuprofen or naproxen if you can use these medications.
These medications also have an anti inflammatory effect.

If an infection to the node or surrounding area is present, you would need a course of antibiotics as well.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
would depend on if an infection is present and the type of infection

Detailed Answer:
HI

Sorry about the delayed reply

Antibiotics would be used if an infection is present. As mentioned above, there are other causes of enlarged lymph nodes besides infection.

Antibiotics would only be used if an infection is identified.

The type of antibiotic would then depend on the type of infection present eg there are some antibiotics that work well for skin infections eg augmentin or some of the quinolones (Eg ciprofloxacin, moxifloxacin)
There are antibiotics that work well for other types of infections
