Is Amoxicillin Advisable For Fatigue, Fever And Shortness Of Breath?

Question: I started taking 500 MG Amoxicillin two nights ago due to extreme fatigue, fever and shortness of breath. I had walking Pneumonia years ago and all the symptoms seemed the same. Feeling better today, no fever and phelm is clear. I still have mild shortness of breath is Amoxicillin the best option.

Amoxicillin is the antibiotic of choice if your symptoms are due to bacterial pneumonia. Since you are showing signs of improvement, continue taking it.

I would however advice you to get a chest xray done to confirm the diagnosis.

If the symptoms are persisting or worsening, consult your primary care physician for further management.
