Question : Is Menest a beta ester dail ....more like a human natural replacement?
Hi,
Menest is an esterified estrogen prepared by different sulfate esters salts of estrone, an etrogenic substance. Yes, it acts to some extent like human natural replacement. The distribution and metabolization of these exogenous estrogens is similar to that of endogenous estrogens. But these are used only when indicated by a gynecologist since it carries risk of a variety of conditions like coronary artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, certain female reproductive organ cancers etc.
This is usually used in primary ovarian failure, to control vasomotor symptoms that occur in relation to menopause.in conditions like vaginal atrophy.
Hope this helps!
