I have attached a photo is this a good weight losx
Approved medicine for weight loss, can have side effects
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Phentermine is very commonly prescribed for weight loss for short term use. But is not given for long term use. On average the weight loss in patients using 15–30mg/d for 24 weeks is found in studies to be around 6.3 kg. Transient symptoms of brain stimulation such as insomnia, irritability, and anxiety were seen in around 1/4th of patients.
Orlistat is considered a safer medicine for weight loss when given long term.
For weight loss following lifestyle interventions are considered best.
-Healthy diet (Improves nutrient signaling to the brain): emphasize unprocessed foods, encourage complexity, low calorie foods to be taken.
-Regular exercise: Not to burn calories acutely, Long-term exercise more important than type or intensity
-Stress reduction: Reduce both perceived and “invisible” stresses, restore sleep, regularize circadian rhythms
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
