Is SGOT Level Of 52 Normal?

considered as a clinically normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
Here your SGOT (52) will be considered as a clinically normal. However, it is marginally elevated (depending upon the lab variations) here from the reference range, still it would have NO clinical significance in an otherwise healthy individual.
I would not be personally worried about it, since SGOT (AST) is highly sensitive liver function test and it might get easily elevated even with fatty meal or exercises or even mild alcohol intake.
So, do not worry about it and possibly avoid fatty/junk/oily foods if you take.
There is NO need to take any particular medications for it.It will come down normal within 1 or 2 weeks.
However, you may take syrup LIV-52 DS 2TSF daily which is a herbal preparation having hepato-protective property and may be beneficial for you.
Hope this helps and let me know your more questions.

I am having this bloating problem quite some time..
try some symptomatic over the counter medications.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for sharing more information.
Well, your routine blood works, endoscopy, and ultrasound reports are normal but you did not answer about your eating habits.
Anyway,at present I would suggest you to try some symptomatic over the counter medications with STRICT dietary precautions to get some relief.
1) Take over the counter antacids tablets like Tab.Pantoprazole 40mg or Tab.Rabiprazole 20mg with Tab.Gas-X twice daily to get relief from the symptoms of gas trouble or bloating and acidity.
2) Take syrup Digene 2 TSF three times a day, will also be helpful.
3) Avoid hot, oily and spicy foods and prefer HOME food. Take soft diet only for initial few days.
4) Avoid eating full stomach one at a time rather, take small meals frequently.
5) Avoid complex carbohydrates like beans, potato and carbonated beverages and milk based products which are hard to digest.
6) Drink plenty of water and fruit juices.
7) Digestive enzymes (like Unienzyme once daily which is available over the counter) will also be helpful in the digestion of carbohydrates and minimize the gas production.
8) Avoid talking which eating, as doing so may also cause further gas formation inside stomach.
With above symptomatic treatment and dietary precautions,we would expect to see some improvement.
Hope this detailed explanation will be helpful.
